Significant time by treatment effects (eight time points, four groups) were found for 24 blueberry- and seven banana-derived phenolic metabolites in plasma (FDR adjusted p < 0.05). Plasma oxylipins and blueberry and banana metabolites were measured with UPLC–tandem MS/MS. Blood samples were collected pre- and post-2-weeks blueberry supplementation, and 0, 1.5, 3, 5, 24, and 48 h-post-exercise. Cyclists from each group (blueberry, placebo) were further randomized to ingestion of a water-only control or water with a carbohydrate source (Cavendish bananas, 0.2 g/kg carbohydrate every 15 min) during exercise.

Cyclists reported to the lab in an overnight fasted state and engaged in a 75-km cycling time trial (185.5 ± 5.2 min). Cyclists ( n = 59, 39 ± 2 years of age) were randomized to freeze-dried blueberry or placebo groups, and ingested 26 grams/d (1 cup/d blueberries equivalent) for 2 weeks. This study determined if 2-weeks of blueberry and/or acute banana ingestion influenced generation of n-6 and n-3 PUFA-derived oxylipins during recovery from exercise-induced physiological stress. Here is a link to the computrainer site with some mention of the models. You would have to open it up to check the pcb layout. The older 8001 handlebar controllers (it might be all of them, I don't know for sure what year the cutoff is) didn't use a quartz timing crystal and are off by 1%. One other important thing to note, not all the handlebar controllers are created equal. Newer features, like the drag coeficient were only added to the 1500 watt PC chipset. You need a different chipset for the different configurations. The 8001 and later handlebar controllers can work with either the 750watt load generators or the 1500watt ones and can work with a PC or NES. I have a pro and a Lab (2011 models) and they are very consistent and read 2% lower than my quarq (due to loss of power in the drivetrain). At some point they started calling the pro model 8002, but the very latest ones just say either Computrainer Pro or Computrainer Lab and have a chrome flywheel (as opposed to blue) and a small extension wire for the power connector. The earlier models (till late 90s or so) were not as accurate as the newer ones. Next models up were the computrainer pro models (8001,8002). I have and it's off by 20 watts below 200, and 45 watts above 200. These 2 load generators were not calibrated on a dyno (it was before they had the dyno) so expect them to be off.
